The Master MC
Kody Bateman is the founder of SendOutCards. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife and family. One of Kody’s stories tells about learning to rap on a street corner in Baltimore while serving a Christian mission for his church.
“When I rap, I am using my love of music and cherishing memories of people I love from the streets of Baltimore. Having fun with this rap music is a way for me to trigger the positive energy I had with those people, and it makes me feel good. It also celebrates the love of self and others,” Kody says.
To this day Kody carries a love for music. He has written and produced several inspirational songs and music videos. A selection of his original music is included on the DVD/CD bound inside this book. These pieces were selected because there’s a story about each of them inside this book. There’s even a bonus track with Kody rapping; rap along with Kody B, the master MC!
